Wexford to sail through the Lake County

Nothing short of a convincing win will be acceptable for the Wexford senior hurlers in their championship clash with Westmeath on Saturday evening in Mullingar at 7pm. The sides last met in the 2015 Leinster Quarter Final and Wexford were eight point winners on that occasion.

Paddy Power install Wexford at the prohibitive odds of 1/40, Westmeath are chalked up at 14/1 and 33/1 a draw.

Westmeath with +13 points are evens, and if you fancy Wexford by a landslide, -13 points,  you can have 10/11.

Conor McDonald heads the betting to score the first goal at 5/1.

So, all systems go for an All- Ireland quarter final against Clare on the 15th of July.
