It was certainly a day to remember for the “Monbeg Sport Horses” team of Marti Rudd and Tomas Doyle at the Mullingar International Horse Show on Friday.
Ninety three horses started out in the 5yo Irish Sport Horse competition on Thursday morning, by the following day, only four of those horses managed to jump four clear rounds, two of which were partnered by Tomas Doyle.
The home bred pair of Monbeg Rising, by Kannan (KWPN), and Monbeg Ruby, by Diamant De Semilly (SF), are both daughters of Ballycapple Mist, and she was campagned up to National Grand Prix level by Tomas.
