Colin Bowe landed his 22nd winner of the season at this afternoon point-to-point in Kinsale, Diakosaint (FR) won the 5yo Maiden under Rob James, the Kiltealy yard also saddled the third-placed, Master Mikey Dee. This gave Rob James his 16th winner of the season.
James almost landed a double on the day, he lost out by a short head, on the Donnchadh Doyle trained Kayf Hernando, in the opening 4yo Maiden.
Rob James also filled the runner-up slot in the 5yo+ Mares Maiden, he lost out by a neck on the Andrew Latta trained Lady Dabbler.
Tomorrow’s point-to-point action moves to Mainstown and Tattersalls, both get underway at 12 noon.
