A man in his 30s has died in a workplace accident in Ballycarney this morning.
The incident happened at an existing grain store where a new shed was being constructed, it is understood the man suffered the fatal injury when he was struck by building material.
His body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.
The accident is being investigated by gardaí, and the Health and Safety Authority attended the scene.
