Sinn Fein TD Johnny Mythen is urging members of the public to engage with the public consultation process for the M11 Oylegate to Rosslare Harbour link, which began today.
Deputy Mythen said:
‘This particular section of roadway has been under discussion for many years. It affects the residents of nearly half the county who commute or travel for either work or leisure, as well as the European freight which travels through our county on a daily basis.”
‘The M11 link is important as an overall step to promote and utilise Rosslare Europort to it’s full potential. A lot of the time in this type of consultation some of the best suggestions and concerns come from private residents with vital local knowledge, in anything from water tables to wildlife. I would strongly urge everyone to get involved with the process and have their say via the designated website.’
