Representatives from Enniscorthy Greyhound Track will meet representatives from Indecon, next Tuesday, to discuss the report that was commissioned by the Irish Greyhound Board, recommending the closure of Enniscorthy, Youghal, Longford, and Lifford.
Following this report, the local directors commissioned their own report, produced by KHSK Economic Consultants, which produced very different findings.
This afternoon, we spoke to the Minister with Responsibility for Defence, Paul Kehoe, and he remains very hopeful of the track’s future.
