The final of the Stepping Stones To Success Eventing League took place at the Wexford Equestrian Centre on Wednesday.
The Top Spec 4yo League was won by the Heidi Hamilton owned and ridden Johan-Some, the attractive son of Lexicon, out of the Rabiat Z mare, Rolanda, can now look forward to a summer’s grass.

Sarah Ennis & Greenhall Granuaile and Daniel Alderson & the unnamed Belline Diamond Swatch gelding shared second place in the series, both scored 20 points.

Sarah Ennis & Stellor Quickchange topped the Shires Equestrian 5yo section on a score of 26. The winning gelding is by Olympic Lux out of the Religiously mare, Notsoholy. Aoife Quigley & Kilcandra Vanessa took the runner-up spot on a mark of 22 and Sarah Ennis & Killossery Kolumbo was in third place on 14 points.

The Oulartleigh Equestrian sponsored, Pony section, was won by the Killian Murphy ridden, Anne Fields Hector, and the Kilkenny rider also took third place with Cullintra Bonfire. Gorey rider, Dale Adams, split the two Kilkenny ponies, with her own, Cha Cha Cha, to take the runner up spot with her 5yo Olympic Lux mare.

Young rider, Rachel Wall, a first cousin of International event rider, Esib Power, and Grand National winning jockey, Robbie Power, won the Thoroughbred section, sponsored jointly by HWT and Willie Mullins. Test Pilot is a 6yo gelding by Getaway, out of the High Roller mare, Chirouble, he ran four times in the UK when trained by Jonjo O’Neill, a 48,000 euro purchase at the Derby sale, he ran in the ownership of Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor and D Smith.
Izzy Leadbitter & Destination Street took the runner-up spot and her partner, Thomas Byrne, finished in third place on Ask Mammy.
