Wexford Rose, Emma Byrne, travelled to the Vesnova Institution alongside Adi Roche, she was a part of a multi-skilled and talented team who helped the care team in the Institution to take care of the 174 children who live in Vesnova for a five day period.
20-year-old Emma, from Clonroche, was chosen as the Wexford Rose at a gala event held in the Amber Springs Hotel, Gorey, last May. A former pupil of Loreto Wexford, she now studies at St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. Emma is experienced in equestrian sport and also in dancing and entertainment and has been associated with a number of local groups including Celtic Roots and the Rathnure Panto.
