In the second of our “Legends” series, Peter Mernagh spoke to Wexford’s All-Ireland winning captain of ’96, Martin Storey.
Regarded as one of the greatest Wexford players of all-time he played his club hurling with Oulart-The Ballagh, winning his first senior championship with the club in 1994, he captained the side the following year to win their second title. As a result, he captained Wexford the following year and collected the Liam MacCarthy Cup that season.
