Enniscorthy L1 face Clontarf in the semi-final of the Cup at 2.45pm on Sunday in the Astro Turf Centre in Enniscorthy. The team has already collected the league title this season; to date they have won 16 of their 17 games in that competition, their only defeat was a one nil loss to Clontarf last week.
We paid a visit to the team’s training session on Wednesday night, got a little background into the club, had a look at their preparations ahead of the weekend’s game, and spoke to Alan Smith, coach, Donal Doyle, coach, Eleanor Bolger, captain L2, Julie Watchorn, captain L1, and Niamh Ogilvie.
