The search for a missing local man near Ballyedmond has been stood down following the location of a man’s body earlier today.
The Garda Press Office has confirmed that the body is that of Timmy Levingstone.
Local groups and Gardai using the Dog Unit had been carrying out a search of the area after a local man was reported missing on Saturday morning.
There is immense sadness in the locality where the man was well-known and has extended family.
Timothy (Timmy) Levingstone, with an address at Clone, Monamolin, was laid to rest in St. Cormac’s graveyard, Boolavogue, on Thursday, December 27th.
