The R741 has reopened to traffic following a two-vehicle collision between the junctions leading to Oulart village and Castle Ellis-The Ballagh.
The incident happened shortly after 8 pm and emergency services from Enniscorthy and Gorey were quickly on the scene.
No serious injuries reported, however, the vehicles involved -a car and a jeep – are badly damaged.
Road conditions in the area are wet and caution while driving is strongly advised.
