A man in his early 30’s was arrested in a Garda anti-drugs operation following the discovery of cannabis herb, cannabis resin, and cocaine during the search of a house in the coastal area of Carne, in south-east Wexford.
The illegal substances are reckoned to have a street value of €300,000.
The search, conducted on foot of a warrant, was carried out at noon as part of an ongoing operation investigating the sale and supply of controlled substances in the county.
A man was arrested at the scene and is being detained for questioning at Wexford Garda Station.
